Conundrums solved by Conduit Collab.
To celebrate The Doors 40th Anniversary and celebrate their induction into The Grammy Hall of Fame we shut down The Sunset Strip. Traffic was stopped. We took ownership. The Whisky-A-Go-Go (8901 Sunset Blvd.), Book Soup (8818 Sunset Blvd., formerly the site of the Cinematheque 16) and The Cat Club (8911 Sunset Blvd., former home of London Fog) – ours for the evening.
For the first time in decades the remaining members of The Doors were joined on stage by the likes of Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction) and Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington to sing in Jim’s place. Anthems like “L.A. Women” and “Light My Fire” could be heard reverberating off the streets of the historic Strip.
Welcome to Club Nokia. The 2,300 seat, state-of-the-art venue is the newest addition to L.A. Live’s $2.5 billion sports and entertainment project. The club’s massive stage and pristine sight lines guarantee that any seat in the house is a great one – especially opening night with indie rock legend, Beck. The Goldenvoice promoted venue will host over 150 shows a year and feature an assortment of Grammy winning artists and primetime comedians.
