Born in Northern California and raised on the East coast, O’Toole was an All-American lacrosse player at Penn State University, where she received her degree in Communications.
She began her career in New York City with positions at MGM and Disney on Broadway before shifting to public relations as an Account Executive for The Dowd Agency, where she handled clients like Mark Burnett’s “The Apprentice” and “Rockstar.”
O’Toole launched a boutique public relations firm, Transfer Media Group, in 2008. Growing 1100% in the first three years of business, TMG represented primetime television shows like “Project Runway” and “Top Chef” along with award shows like The MTV Movie Awards and the Latin VMA’s.
In the music sphere, TMG was Universal Music Group’s preferred PR vendor for its 500 independent labels. TMG was also selected for estate management public relations including The Doors Estate and the Janis Joplin Estate. TMG expertly brought international artists stateside, most notably representing artists like Mishka, The Parlotones, and INXS.
In her next act, O’Toole is set to launch The Conduit Collaborative in early 2023. The Conduit Collaborative is a full-service PR enterprise: from tour press to red carpet services, O’Toole and team deliver exceptional and personalized service, regardless of the venue or objective. Specializing in non-traditional pitch angles, The Conduit Collaborative is equipped to bring cutting edge innovation into the realm of traditional public relations.
